Dziadek Leśny is rooted in the culture of the Tatra górale, known for woodcarving and a folklore blending Christian motifs with ancient Slavic beliefs about nature spirits. The Maggio shields originate from ancient folk theatrical traditions spread across the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The heart shape recalls the symbolism of love and chivalric virtue.
