{"id":638,"date":"2019-08-02T00:31:49","date_gmt":"2019-08-01T22:31:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/wordpress\/?page_id=638"},"modified":"2020-04-27T23:58:46","modified_gmt":"2020-04-27T21:58:46","slug":"the-kingdom-of-fairyfolk","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/museoimmaginario.net\/immaginario\/en\/stories\/the-kingdom-of-fairyfolk\/","title":{"rendered":"The Kingdom of Fairyfolk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For this route we suggest a journey to discover the characters found in a vast area around the Garfagnana, from Lucca as far north as Pontremoli, taking in the Apuan Alps with a few side trips &#x201C;here and there&#x201D;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/museoimmaginario.net\/immaginario\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Danza-streghi-500-500x350.jpg\" alt=\"Danza degli Streghi\" class=\"wp-image-621\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This territory is defined by the presence of one particular type of being, the streghi (fairyfolk), so we have called this area the &#x201C;<strong>Kingdom of the fairyfolk<\/strong>&#x201D;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These will not be the only characters to be met on our travels, we shall come across many others, starting with the goblin, known mostly here as &#x2018;<em>Buffardello<\/em>&#x2019;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The journey, as already mentioned, will follow the meanderings of thousands of variants that we shall meet progressively as our researches continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this initial phase we will follow geographical connections only, through our choice of documents and further research.
